Africans skill trainers in TVET UNEVOC Center
24 Skill trainers from 7 African countries (Senegal, Mauritania, Cameroon, Mali, Ivory
Coast, Burkina Faso and Guinee) arrived in IRAN-ITC – TVET UNEVOC Center on 21-23 of
February 2024 for attending in some training courses specially on automobile(vehicle)
industry.
They stayed in ITC for 2 weeks (24, Feb - 8th of Mar.). They had difference courses about
Automobile repair and maintenance in Automobile dep. of ITC such as Power generator,
Power transmission….
Of courses they had some recreational tour such as visiting Sādabad Palace and visiting
IRAN KHODRO Company (an important automobile manufacturing company).
During their course some diplomats including Oman Labor Minister, the Ambassador of
Burkina Faso in Tehran, Unicef representative in Iran and Commercial counselor of
Austrian Embassy visited ITC-Karaj training Center and these trainers.
The head of ITC declared that TVTO has a significant role in teaching the Africans’ skill
trainers. He said Iran is a member of ILO and empowering the labor force is one of its
crucial roles.
