Green skills Training Program in Wood Industry

A five - day training course entitled ”Green skills training program in wood Industry” organized by ITC-Iran TVTO in partnership with UNESCO Tehran Office, for university students and young job seekers (Iranian and refugees) in wood industries.

Since the wood industry plays a significant role in the global economy, providing employment for millions of people worldwide.

The comprehensive training package covered a range of training topics, including

• Greening in wood industries(FSC)
• Production of Wooden Dishes and Toys
• Entrepreneurship skills & Business Model Canvas in Wood Industries

The training package was implemented for four groups of 61 trainees.

The Main objectives of the project were: to equip students and job seekers (both Iranian nationals and refugees) with the necessary green and business skills to thrive in the wood industry, and to promote sustainable practices and environmental consciousness in the wood industry.
