"Good practices on eliminating HCFC Refrigerants, familiarization with Hydrocarbon Refrigerants and Good methods in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry"

A good servicing training workshop was held on 13 and 14^th December 2022, on “Eliminating HCFC refrigerants, familiarization with Hydrocarbon Refrigerants and Good methods in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry” in cooperation with the National Plan Office of Ozone Layer Protection to achieve and implement the Montreal Protocol goals and the Kigali Amendment in the protection of the vital ozone layer

In this training workshop aiming at identifying and synergizing in taking the necessary measures to prevent the release of ozone-depleting refrigerants, eliminating them from the consumption cycle, and the correct procedures for their replacement, instructors of the National Instructor Training Center taught 27 technicians from industry and 60 invited technicians from Qom and Mazandaran provinces. It took place virtually and at the same time under the supervision of the representative of the Ozone Layer Protection Organization

Training Workshop on

"Correct and safe methods of working with hydrocarbon refrigerants"

This training workshop was delivered for 17 selected companies from the commercial refrigeration and cold storage sectors in cooperation with the Ozone Layer Protection Office and the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) is organized by Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Department of NITC

The Ozone Layer Protection Office, in cooperation with the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ), in line with the implementation of the goals of the Montreal Protocol and the obligations of the Islamic Republic of Iran to protect the ozone layer, planed a 3-day training workshop in NITC and Special training for 16 specialists and instructors of the refrigeration, air conditioning and refrigeration industry was held from November 20 - 22, 2022

It is worth mentioning that at the end of this training, ozone-friendly tools and equipment were distributed among the companies by the Ozone Layer Office of the Environmental Organization and the United Nations, so that these companies can get familiar with the operation of the devices and use them on a trial basis
